Hello loves, we all know I’m a sucker for antiques but I don’t typically look for outdoor pieces because I’ve lived in apartments for years and never had a need for outdoor decor UNTIL NOW. I guess this is as good a time as any to tell you guys that me and my boyfriend will be homeowners after four years of apartment living! This has been a dream of mine for so long and after years of hard work and endless paperwork it’s finally coming true. I figured I would tell you guys since I’m featuring this awesome galvanized bucket from Pine Springs Cottage. They sell many more awesome antique pieces like shelves, baskets, kitchen decor, stools, lighting, a HUGE galvanized collection and much more. Obviously this bucket can be used indoors as well to store blankets and pillows or anything you would like but I think it would make the perfect planter on my front porch! They were sweet enough to send me three and I cannot wait to feature them when I finally show you guys my new home. You can get your own on their Etsy shop for only $12.50 which is a serious steal! Keep an eye out for my new blog series I will featuring in late May, I will be showing you guys how I reno my house on a budget! Also, make sure to check out Pine Springs Cottage to help make both the inside and outside of your home perfect for spring, enjoy. [Read more…]
Hello loves, I have discovered so many amazing shops through Instagram recently and one of my favorites has to be Honey Home Market. Every time I see their posts on Instagram I fall more and more in love. They sell a little bit of everything from antique books, kitchen accessories, baskets, scales, candle sticks and much more. They were sweet enough to send me this book set as well as the gorgeous ceramic pitcher I featured last week. I cannot even describe how excited I was to receive this package!! I love antique books, they are perfect for layering decor or even just for reading! They give such a worldly and unique look to any space. One day I would love to fill a floor to ceiling bookshelf with them, I think it would be stunning! Unfortunately you can not purchase this exact set of books in their shop because they are antiques and therefor one of a kind but you can purchase similar sets ranging from $22-$38. Make sure to check out Honey Home Market to fill your home with your own unique antique pieces, enjoy. [Read more…]

Hello loves, I don’t know about you guys but I have a real appreciation for old pieces that have been repurposed and brought back to life. It is so special to take something from the past and create something new with a totally different purpose. That’s why I completely fell in love when I stumbled upon this repurposed drum shelf from Curtis Creation. It is such a great piece that’s perfect for any farmhouse, rustic or industrial space and since I live in an historical loft apartment I knew it would look great! I decided add some of my favorite farmhouse and antique pieces like this super cute cow creamer.
Their shop also sells amazing amazing pieces like farmhouse signs, trays and baskets, pillows, vases and so much more! The decor is great quality and reasonably priced. This drum shelf sells for $110 which is a steal for such a unique and repurposed item!! Make sure to check out Curtis Creation and fill your own with amazing and unique farmhouse and industrial pieces, enjoy.
Hello loves, I have developed a slight obsession with ceramic pitchers, vases, dinnerware and pretty much anything white or cream. I had been on the lookout for a good pitcher for a while and I finally stumbled upon this awesome one from Honey Home Market and knew I had to have it. I first found this Etsy shop on Instagram and fell in love with their decor. Lately I have been finding many of my favorite shops on Instagram!! They were sweet enough to send me a couple of items, one being this gorgeous ceramic piece of course. I wanted to show you guys one of my favorite ways to style pitchers, which would be to use it as a vase. I filled mine with some faux babies breath (my favorite flower). My final plan will be to add it to a ceramic collection I have started on my hutch, but that’s still a work in progress. This pitcher was a one of a kind piece but she sells similar items ranging from $18-$72. Honey Home Market also sells so many other antique decor items like kitchen accessories, baskets, book sets, scales, candles sticks and much more! Make sure to check them out and refresh your home with new antique pieces for spring.
Hello loves, so there comes a time in every blogger’s life when you feel like you actually made it and have a site that is legitimate and something you can be proud of. Having the opportunity to work with the Etsy shop So Vintage Chic was definitely that moment for me. Now, if you have been following my site for a while than you know that I have been blogging for a couple of years but originally started out as a fashion blogger. The Chic Geek was something that I started in the meantime until I had a place of my own to display my true passion, home decor. For the last five months I have been transitioning and doing my best to make my apartment look as farmhouse chic as possible and create a great platform to start this home decor blog, The Little White Farmhouse. My obsession started when I stumbled across Liz Marie Blog (one of my home decor idols) on Instagram and quickly discovered amazing Etsy shops through her like So Vintage Chic. I have been eyeing her gorgeous pillow covers for a long time and never imagined I would have the opportunity to work with her shop! She sells literally every kind of pillow cover that goes with any type of decor style, but my favorite would have to be her vintage collection. They come in a multiple sizes and start at $29. She was so sweet to send me this gorgeous floral “stay awhile” pillow that is absolutely perfect for spring. Make sure to check out her shop and make your home look super cozy and inviting with her amazing pillow covers. Also, use code CHICGEEK at checkout for 20% off your purchase, enjoy. [Read more…]
