Hello loves, you have no idea how excited I am to finally feature my fall front porch with y’all. When we first started looking for houses it was September and I couldn’t help but drive around swooning over everyones gorgeous fall front porches. After a year of dreaming about my own this space is finally complete and I am head over heels in love. I will admit it’s not 100% what I want but I figure I have a few months to perfect it 🙂 My favorite piece that really stands out in this cozy fall corner is this rustic pumpkin patch sign from the Etsy shop Flawed to Fabulous. It sells for $65 and can be styled in so many ways! I paired mine with these hay bales from Michaels, burlap pumpkins from Target, my Tjmaxx lantern, throw blanket and leather pillow, this amazing grain sack pillow from Old Lake George and my burlap pouf from Idylwood design. And of course my favorite part of our entire porch, this 8ft long antique bench that has been passed down my family for 3 generations. Keep an eye out to see how I change up my fall front porch and make sure to check out Flawed to Fabulous to get your own gorgeous fall porch sign, enjoy.
Hello loves, I know its only the first week of September but I’m completely obsessed with all things fall related. Especially decor! It may be because this is the first fall I have a home of my own and I just love the cozy feel that fall decor brings. Unfortunately adding fall touches to my kitchen was more difficult than I thought. I am constantly changing things up in search of the perfect combination. But when I received this amazing happy mail from the Etsy shop Wandering Heart Signs I knew just what to do with it. This fresh apple cider sign makes me smile every time I see it, the perfect fall focal point to our kitchen. The best part is you can get the frame in both white or stained wood and it sells for only $30, you can’t go wrong! Make sure to out Wandering Heart Signs and fill your home with their gorgeous and inspirational signs, enjoy.
Hello loves, I was looking through my blog the other day and realized I had never featured my bedside table before. Now that it’s September and my fall home decor is in full force my bedroom feels cozier than ever so I couldn’t wait to share with you guys. Clearly I don’t have a conventional bedside table, I stacked two antique crates and kept the decor super simple. The best part about our DIY table is that it’s affordable! I found both crates at a local antique store for $40, you can’t go wrong. I styled it with my favorite rustic lamp from Target, this super cute clock from Curtis Creation (it’s not longer available but they have similar ones for sale), and this mason jar candle from Greyden Candle Co in fall festival. Then I added these burlap pumpkins I got at the Target Dollar shop for $3 each to add some fall touches. And last but not least one of my favorite fall pillows ever, this gorgeous gather pillow from Cover Love Shop. I love how neutral and simple this space has become, our perfect cozy fall oasis. Make sure to check out these amazing shops and add some rustic fall decor to your own home, enjoy.
Hello, happy fall ya’ll. I will admit I know it’s not officially fall but since it’s September I wanted to start a fall series on my blog!! After all, most people like to start collecting pieces before the season starts so I thought I would share some of my favorite fall decor that is affordable and available to be purchased right now! I’m going to be sharing some gorgeous signs, pillows, pumpkins and much more. Plus all items go perfectly with any farmhouse chic or rustic home.
I wanted to start by featuring two amazing and neutral fall pieces that I have been swooning over since I got them! This gorgeous white pumpkin pillow was hand painted by my sweet and incredibly talented friend Michele from the shop The Moon on a String. She creates the most gorgeous paintings, furniture and pillow covers. She asked me what I wanted and hand painted this stunning white pumpkin the very same night and I couldn’t be more in love! It goes perfectly with my neutral couch and pillows, now if only I could find the perfect plaid pillows to go with it haha. I also wanted to feature this hello fall sign from House of Ezra. I love the rustic wood sign with the white writing, it’s the perfect fall addition to my coffee table. They also sell some more amazing decor, mugs and apparel. Make sure to check out both The Moon on a String and House of Ezra to fill your home with some gorgeous and rustic fall decor, enjoy.
Hello loves, I cannot even describe my sign obsession with you guys. I’m sure you can tell that it’s an issue at this point but I fall in love with any handmade sign with a wooden frame and an amazing quote like this one from the Etsy shop Wood and Whimsy. I am absolutely head over heels in love with this piece and everything it stands for. All of her signs are seriously dreamy and perfectly shabby chic. And you know how I feel about neutrals, so her distressed black and white scriptures paired with the rustic wooden frames are right up my alley! This sign sells for $85 but she also creates so many more gorgeous pieces ranging from $18-$120. Make sure to check out Wood and Whimsy for more amazing handcrafted signs and keep an eye out for another post featuring one of their super cute fall signs, enjoy. [Read more…]
Hello loves, I know I have talked about it forever but we finally built our shelving in the bedroom and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! I originally had a wooden shelving unit that I painted white and distressed but it made the bedroom look almost too white and took up a good amount of space. Then one day I got the idea to build long shelves similar to the ones we already had in both our kitchen and bathroom, but as usual the project took us forever to complete! I was so lucky to receive my all time favorite rustic brackets from the shop Csonkas Custom Rustics! Then all we had to do was get the wood, cut it to size and stain it (I used the Varathane stain in Briarsmoke which we already had left over from my DIY kitchen shelving). Their shop sells on Etsy, Amazon and Ebay and they make the most amazing handcrafted and reclaimed metal brackets, table legs, hanging planter hooks, and even reclaimed wood shelf boards. The best part is that everything in their shop is super affordable! These brackets can be bought in packs of two or four ranging from $20.95-$49.95 depending on the size. And believe me when I say that I did a lot of research before making my first purchase and they are definitely my first choice. Also, they were sweet enough to give me a discount code for my lovely readers!!!! Use code LITTLEWHITEFARMHOUSE at checkout for 30% off your entire order, anytime you order! How can you go wrong?! Make sure to check out Csonkas Custom Rustics and create your own affordable farmhouse shelving, enjoy.
