Hello loves, I have a super exciting and different post for you guys today. I guess you could say I’m going back to my fashion blogging roots but I was so excited when I got the opportunity to work with the shop Punch Vintage. They sell the most gorgeous and uplifting rustic and vintage inspired jewelry that go perfectly with both my home decor and fashion style. They were sweet enough to send me a few amazing pieces so keep an eye out for more posts coming soon. I wanted to start by showing you guys this set of gold bangles with two of my favorite quotes, “I can & I will” and “loved by grace”. Not only do they have an inspiring message but I love the look of them paired together! Plus, as someone with tiny wrists these bracelets actually fit me perfectly. They have definitely become my go to everyday bracelets and I am absolutely in love with them as well as the rest of their collection. This particular metal bracelet can be customized and hand stamped to say whatever quote you would like and sell for $34. Make sure to click here to check out Punch Vintage and get you own rustic arm candy for yourself, enjoy.
Hello loves, this may be my favorite post yet! I’ve been dying to decorate our deck since the moment we moved in and I cannot wait to show you guys our little outdoor oasis. Let me start by telling you that we had been apartment living for years with no deck or outdoor space of our own and it made us crazy haha. We love to take walks on the weekends and enjoy nature so having a yard and deck was something we dreamed about and an absolute must when we were looking for a house. As a wannabe farm girl we were searching for a home with at least 4 acres and a decent amount of privacy which definitely narrowed our options. But the second we pulled up to this house I immediately knew it was the one! Although I will admit that I wasn’t the biggest fan of the half front porch but as I walked around the corner and saw the big wrap around deck I fell in love. I could see us sipping coffee on a summer morning. The only problem was that we had no outdoor furniture or decor so I had to be crafty haha. I got my table on craigslist in the free section (I know you can’t see it well, another post will be coming soon). I’m not going to get into too much detail but you heard me right, Craigslist has a free section and I have become addicted! Anyways, it was a wooden table that I simply chalk painted and distressed. One side of the table has bench seating that I was lucky enough to receive from the Etsy shop Acorn Mill. So the only thing I had to purchase for furniture was a set of wicker chairs that I got on sale at Ikea (on sale for $50 but regularly $114). I was pretty proud of what we came up with on a budget. For the decor I paired some old goodies with some new finds to dress the table up. I already had this Nicole Miller table runner from Tjmaxx , some pillows from H&M, and this galvanized chalkboard from Magnolia Market. I got these super cute and industrial Tommy Bahama string lights at Tjmaxx as well as this metal lantern. MY galvanized citronella candle was from Target and I grabbed some gorgeous farmhouse flowers from a local farmers Market. This has absolutely become my favorite space in my home and I’m so glad I finally got to share it with you guys! Click on the links to check out some amazing rustic outdoor decor 🙂
Hello loves, I couldn’t wait to feature these sweet ruffle pillowcases that were handmade by my even sweeter friend Sky who owns the Etsy shop Her Creative Cottage. Not only is her own home swoon worthy but her shop is so stinking cute. I’m obsessed with her handmade farmhouse pillowcases but she also sells some signs and an amazing handmade magnolia wreath. I stumbled across her shop on Instagram and I absolutely fell head over heels with this white set of ruffle pillow cases that was on sale for $32!! How can you go wrong? The only thing is that I had been searching for the perfect cream pillowcases for my loft couch for a while and she was nice enough to hand make this set for me in the most perfect off white color that same day. They look absolutely amazing in this cozy little space we have created. You have to check out Her Creative Cottage and add some new farmhouse decor to your home for the summer.
Hello loves, let’s be honest I cannot get enough of these farm inspired signs these days. I mean how else am I going to let people know that I’m a farm girl wannabe when I live in New England? Haha. Although I do have a million farmers markets and farmhouse signs I fell in love when I stumbled across this farm fresh dairy sign from the Etsy shop Rustic Barn Salvage. I don’t have much decor with cows on it and I just thought it was such a unique piece, I couldn’t wait to share with you guys. I found the perfect spot for it in my stairway collage and I am loving how it looks (click the read more link to see the entire gallery wall). This exact sign is not currently in the shop but they sell many similar handmade farmhouse signs for $35-40. Hello loves, before I moved I started collecting some farmhouse decor pieces including a few farmer’s market signs. I was lucky enough to receive this one from the shop Signed and Scripted and I’m obsessed! I loveeee the grain sack background and distressed wood frame. At first I wasn’t sure where to hang it because it’s such a large piece and my kitchen is tiny but as soon as we moved in I found just the right spot. It looks perfect next to my creamware hutch! This gorgeous sign sells for $125 (which happens to be the most expensive sign they sell). The majority of them range from $12-$65. Hello loves, I hope you guys are having a great week. Things are finally settling down with renovations and I can relax and do one of my favorite hobbies, blogging! I cannot explain how much I have missed being able to sit down after a long day of work and get lost in my blog. It’s definitely not complete but I wanted to show you my dining room. I love this picture because you can see how close my living room and dining room really are.
