Hello loves, happy Sunday! I cannot believe the weekend is almost over. At least we got a lot done around the house before our Fourth of July cookout. Including our farmhouse deck! I’ve been having some serious decor envy seeing everyone’s gorgeous outdoor spaces on Instagram so I was determined to finish ours. Keep an eye out for a post coming soon. But in the mean time I’m so excited to share another fun shop and piece with you guys. And today I have the honor of featuring this amazing farmhouse sign from the Etsy shop Rustic Country Designs. Their farmhouse signs are perfection and I’m loving how this beauty looks styled on our bedroom shelves. I’m also swooning over their Laundry Co sign, it would perfect on any laundry room shelf! Click here to check out their amazing shop for yourself, you can thank me later.
Hello loves, hope you all had an amazing week. Mine was crazy busy filled with lots of errands and a hectic work week (I’m a dental assistant at a pediatric office). And although my week was long at least I had something to look forward to. I have another amazing shop to share with you guys, Purple Rose Home. The best part is they are actually local for me in Massachusetts so I’m definitely dying to go visit. They were so sweet to send me this gorgeous striped throw blanket that was the perfect addition to our bedroom! Definitely adds a pop of color that this room needed. They sell some amazing bedding, rugs, lighting, curtains, decor and so much more. I may have a slight obsession with their farmhouse chic bedding! And they even sell Joanna Gaines collection!! So if you live near Northborough, Ma make sure to stop in and check it out or click here to shop their site. You can thank me later.
Hello loves, it’s time for another amazing Third and Main box reveal. Their July box is seriously my jam! It’s got some awesome kitchen accessories that I’ve been loving. This tea towel from Montgomery Street Designs has already found a permanent home hung over my farmhouse sink. I’m also swooning over this teal colander from Bloomingville. It’s definitely the prettiest thing in my kitchen cabinets! And this “this is our happy place” plaque from Creative Co-Op puts a smile on my face every time I see it. So I’m thinking it will look perfect on my beauty room door since it really is my happy place 🙂 And last but not least I’m already obsessing over this golden honey hand lotion from Illume and this delicious strawberry wood wick candle. Although I don’t think either of them will last long in my house! Haha. If you haven’t checked out Third and Main monthly subscription boxes for yourself make sure to head over and get your July box now. You can thank me later! And click here to check out last months box, enjoy.
Hello loves, ahhhh I have been DYING to share this post with you guys but unfortunately I had to complete my beauty room before I could get a good photo. But as of this weekend my entire room is finished (well, as much as it can be for now) and I couldn’t be more excited to feature it as well as the most gorgeous floral wallpaper from Milton and King. I had originally painted this room white like the rest of our little white farmhouse and I just felt like this space needed something more. So when I received this happy mail I was jumping for joy. This vintage style floral wallpaper added a feminine touch that this room definitely needed and I love having it as an accent wall. I had actually hung this paper a couple of weeks ago but I was waiting on this stunning antique vanity that my mom gave me to complete this space. And now I’m in love!! If your a fan of accent walls like I am you have to check out their site, they have a huge selection and all different styles. But you know their farmhouse collection is my jam. I was torn between one of their shiplap wallpapers and this floral one but I’m so happy with my choice. Head over and check out their site for yourself, enjoy.
Hello loves, I’m so excited to share a different type of post with you today. My very first Father’s Day post! I know I’m usually all about home decor but since the big day is almost here I thought I would share the perfect gift idea. When it comes to buying a gift for my Dad my go to is definitely clothes and grooming products so I was so excited when I had the opportunity to work with the Etsy shop Upper Lip Sweater. If you know anything about me you know I love to make gift baskets. So I’ll be adding this awesome set to my Father’s Day one this year. Their shop is seriously awesome, dedicated to helping men condition, tame and control their beard. And the set that they were so sweet to send contains the best of their collection (their beard wax, mustache wax and beard oil). And the best part is it’s only $33, how can you go wrong? They also sell some super cute vintage tees, onsies and even a hilarious beard plaque! So if your looking for a super cool and unique gift to give your dad this year head over and check out Upper Lip Sweater for yourself, you can thank me later.
Hello loves, happy Monday! I hope you all had an amazing weekend. Ours was filled with projects around the house and yard work. Now that it’s finally feeling like spring here in New England we are so ready to complete our outdoor space. So today we planted some beautiful peonies in our flower bed and I have some amazing patio pieces that I cannot wait to share! But while that space is in transition I figured I would bring some garden touches to our bedroom. I have been swooning over how my sweet friends Jess (The Rustic Palette) and Erin (Cotton Stem) styled their homes with whitewashed terra-cotta pots and I was definitely inspired to try it out myself. But I wasn’t sure how I would create my spring mantle until I received some happy mail from Beams Boards Barns. They sell the most amazing reclaimed and chippy frames in all sizes and colors, and their collection is huge! This stunning distressed frame was just what I needed to create the perfect space. I love how this beauty looks layered with my magnolia wreath and these fun terra-cotta pots. I’m seriously obsessed! Head over to Beams Boards Barns Etsy shop and add some chippy goodness to your home, you can thank me later.
Hello loves, hope you all had an amazing Memorial Day weekend! We spent it grilling and chilling with friends and family which is always a good time. Unfortunately the fun is over and it was back to the real world yesterday. Which means it’s back to both work and my blogging schedule. And I’m so excited to share this gorgeous summer tea towel from Six Eleven Co. If you guys follow me on Instagram than you have seen me tag this shop a million times by now 🙂 They were so sweet to send me the gorgeous “happiness is homemade” tea towel that has become a staple in our farmhouse kitchen so when I received happy mail from their shop I was ecstatic. This beauty is PERFECT for summer and adds a nice pop of color to this very white space. And if you love all things farmhouse you will be obsessing over their shop like I am. They sell everything from handmade signs, ladders, pillow cases, towels, mugs to totes and even tees! And I want it all. Head over and check out Six Eleven Co. for yourself, you can thank me later.
Hello loves, I have been DYING to share our DIY painted tile floors with you guys and today is finally the big day. Although this project has been done for a couple of weeks now the weather has been rainy and gloomy almost everyday. So when I woke up to the sunshine this morning I jumped at the opportunity to get a good photo. I hope you guys like them as much as I do! I had been swooning over all of the amazing DIY floors I had been seeing on my everyone’s Instagram feeds and I thought it would be the perfect and inexpensive solution to changing up our boring tile floors. They were originally just a simple tan tile that definitely did not fit with our farmhouse style (click the read more tab to see the before and after). And for less than $140 we were able to give our master bathroom floor a farmhouse tile look, you can’t go wrong! [Read more…]
Hello loves, happy Friday! I’m sorry it’s been so long since I’ve posted but I came down with a horrible virus and on top of it I’m finally starting to work with clients so life has been crazy. But I just couldn’t wait to share something a little different with you guys today. As you all know I’m a crafty girl, as I like to say “I craft so hard” haha. So when I was approached by the company Wine Glass Writer I was all about it. They sell the most amazing set of pens that are non-toxic, temporary and can be used on all glass and ceramic surfaces. They are the perfect party accessory to keep track of your glass and I love all the amazing colors they come in! They were so sweet to send me so many of their collections but of course my neutral loving self was drawn to their black and green pens. And it was also 10 am when I took this photo so I figured a coffee cup was a little more appropriate and of course more me. I just think these pens are so fun and perfect for any party! I cannot wait to use they babies at our annual Fourth of July bash 🙂 head over to their site and check them out for yourself. You can thank me later.
Hello loves, happy Tuesday. I’m seriously geeking out that I finally get to feature our little laundry room reno. This is the one space that has sat untouched since we bought our house a year ago so I finally decided it had to be done. And this gorgeous sign from Lincoln Ave Designs was my inspiration behind the entire project! Unfortunately stupid me didn’t take a photo of the before but it was just the original cream colored walls with one metal shelf. And within the first few months my boyfriend was sweet enough to build me these gorgeous barn doors to hide it all. So now it was time to add some farmhouse touches to the inside. First I decided to use this textured and paintable floral wallpaper from Wayfair (although it’s hard to see in this photo) and painted it with my favorite Behr paint in the color smokestack. We also added my all time favorite wooden shelves. I still need to get the grain sack baskets I have been eying but I couldn’t wait wait to share this space and of course this amazing laundry sign!! I have been dreaming of having a beauty like this in my own laundry room for so long so this is really a dream come true. And if you love this sign and all things farmhouse you have to check out Lincoln Avenue Designs. I’m obsessing over their “milk and cream” sign as well. Click here to get your own, enjoy.
