Hello loves, you know how I love to layer decor. Especially gorgeous frames and signs. So it makes sense that I did exactly that in our updated entryway. I had the idea when we decided to build a shelf to match these antique stadium chairs that we had recently added and I wanted something really cool and layered to add some eye candy to the top. So of course I had to find some antique frames and photos as the base, a set of turned candle sticks and super sweet hello sign from the shop The Coop Decor. I seriously think this little cutie is the perfect addition to this space. I mean it’s the perfect piece for an entryway right? And they make so many more handmade beauties where that comes from! They even have some Easter ones right now 🙂 so if this sign is giving you all the feels make sure to head over and fill your home with their handmade creations. You can thank me later.
Hi guys, I’m finally sitting down from what feels like the longest day ever. I won’t go into great detail but let’s just say I’m so happy to be snuggled up in my pjs and watching one of my favorite shows, The Office. And I thought the best way to end my day would be to write a late night post and chat a little bit about another amazing shop with you guys. I know I know I’m seriously obsessed with these Etsy shops that sell antiques. It feels like your shopping at your favorite consignment or antique shop, but from home!! You can’t go wrong. And today I’m sharing these vintage trophies I scored from Apothecary Design. Now if you have a love for vintage pieces you will be drooling over this entire shop. I mean look how cute these trophies are! And they look so perfect styled in our entryway. And even though I snagged these one of a kind beauties there are so many more vintage goodies where they came from. They sell everything from antique books to scales, signs, baskets, blankets, poufs and so much more. I want it all. Head over to fill your home with their gorgeous vintage finds, enjoy.
Let’s chat a little about pillows today. I love that simply changing up the pillows can create a different look in any space! Like how knit pillows add a cozy feel and grain sack, feed sack or ticking ones add a farmhouse feel. And you know that’s the look I’m going for. So I absolutely love adding a combination of ticking and grain sack to our sofa at all times. And typically the tan ones are my jam but I decided to switch it up and add a spring touch to our living room. So I went with this gorgeous blue and I’m obsessed! And today I have the honor of sharing this three striped beauty from the Etsy shop Stitched by Grace. Their entire collection is to die for but their modern farmhouse set is so my style! And this one was the perfect addition to our couch. If your swooning as much as I am than head over and fill your with their amazing handmade goodies, enjoy.
Hi again loves! I know we just chatted this morning but I couldn’t wait to share another amazing shop with you guys. But I wanted to talk a little about our updated bathroom first. If you have been following along than you know that we have made a lot of changes to our master bath recently. From the DIY painted floors and shelves to this little distressed cabinet, and they were all for the better. I’ll be honest I do still dream of a gorgeous claw foot tub and an antique vanity but I’m definitely loving all of the farmhouse charm we’ve added so far. And these found wood and metal candlesticks from Emory Valley Mercantile are giving me all the cozy feels. I’m seriously drooling over these reclaimed beauties and they make me love this space even more. I mean there’s nothing like burning candles while taking a bath! And the rest of their decor is just as amazing and perfect for any farmhouse. I snagged myself a super cute galvanized tray as well. So head over to their shop and add some of their amazing pieces to your home. You can thank me later.
Hi guys! I’m wayyy too excited about this post today. Possibly because the piece I’m sharing is a combination of my two favorite things, antiques and candles 🙂 I absolutely love when shops pour their candles into some sort of vintage container so when I saw this gorgeous Dundee crock candle from the Etsy shop Lavender Road Antiques I knew I had to have it. Especially since I have been on the hunt for the perfect crock for some time now, I couldn’t pass this piece up. I probably won’t be burning the candle often though just because I want to make this beauty last haha. So you will be seeing a lot more of this vintage find around our home. And if you love antiques as much as I do than you have to check out their shop for yourself. They not only have more antique crock candles where that comes from but tons of antique finds as well! Head over to add some vintage farmhouse charm to your home, enjoy.
Let’s talk a little about antiques tonight. I know it’s been the main topic of my posts for the last month but I can’t help myself, I’m obsessed!!! I just think it’s crazy that Liz Marie has been my idol and the reason I fell in love with farmhouse decor in the first place and it took me two years to realize that I needed to fill our home with antiques in order to achieve her amazing style. I would save her photos for inspiration and then head over to Home Goods and Target to recreate a similar look. No wonder our home did not have that vintage farmhouse feel. And as soon as it clicked I started collecting and layering antique finds around our home and now I’m in love. The best part is I have found the majority of my vintage finds from Etsy shops like Forgotten Plum. Which is where I got this amazing antique water can from, perfect for spring. It looks so cute styled on our breakfast nook although I think it would look just as cute layered on a front porch or anywhere else in our home. And they sell so many more vintage finds where that comes from like galvanized goodies, enamel ware, feed sacks, clocks, books and so much more. Head over and check out their Etsy shop to add some authentic vintage charm to your home. You can thank me later.
Hello loves, as you all know by now I have an obsession with wreaths. Especially magnolia wreaths! Their definitely my favorite but they can also be so pricey. That’s why I have a few go to Etsy shops where I find the most amazing ones, and the beauty on our door is from Cottage Revivals. I absolutely love their shop and have many of their wreaths styled around our home including the living room, bathroom and my beauty room. But this magnolia wreath is so gorgeous I had to hang it on our front door. The leaves are such good quality and the twigs throughout are a cool touch! Definitely worth it for only $54.99, you can’t go wrong. And they have so many other handmade creations in their shop. From lambs ear to eucalyptus, cotton, olive branch and boxwood! And they also sell amazing wood signs, flags, garland and much more. Head over and fill your home with their gorgeous farmhouse pieces. Enjoy!
Hello loves, happy Friday! And the best part is that it’s the end of the day which means it’s the weekend. So tonight is about snuggling, pjs, my other half and a good movie. Funny story, we originally had reservations at a restaurant to celebrate for Valentine’s Day (we always do a week early). And as soon as we woke up this morning we both decided we would rather spend the night cozied up together. Talk about homebodies hahaha. But that means I get to share a quick blog post with you guys! And tonight is all about one of my favorite candle companies Greyden Candle Co. Not only do their candles smell delicious but their packaging is seriously gorgeous! I love the mason jar with the twine and burlap bow, too cute! Which is why I have so much trouble burnings these beauties, I love styling them around our home as decor. I know I have a problem! But luckily I just stocked up so I can start enjoying them 🙂 This one is in the scent almond and honey, and I’m obsessed!!! Head over to their shop and add a cozy touch to your home, enjoy.
Hi guysss, this is a post that I’ve been waiting and so excited to share for some time now! So the fact that today’s the day makes me sooo happy. Although I did feature our updated loft last week I finally get a chance to chat with you guys about this amazing reclaimed wall from Dusty Lumber Co. Before we installed this beauty this space was so…white. Seriously hahaha! The room just looked so empty and was in desperate need for a fun accent wall. And as you guys know I have an obsession with all things shiplap but I really wanted to add a cozy look to this space so I went with the natural barn wood planks with a little more gray to them, and I’m swooning! I love that they come in different widths so you can give your wall the perfect look. And the fact that we only had to make cuts to boards going near switches and the end of the wall made this project super easy. Just nail the planks into the wall and your good to go 🙂 So if your looking to add some wood planks to your walls you have to check out Dusty Lumber Co. They not only sell these gorgeous natural pieces as well as the perfect white wash farmhouse ones. Click the link to get your own, you can thank me later.
Hello loves, I’m so excited to share some more gorgeous blue ticking pillows with you guys. I’m loving the look of the different patterns and textures, it really gives this space a farmhouse feel. And adding a pop of blue makes me so ready for spring. So today I’m featuring this amazing blue grain sack pillow from the Etsy shop Returning Grace. They have been one of my go to shops for amazing farmhouse pillows for some time now and I couldn’t be happier to have another one of their beauties styled in our home. They sell so many more pillow covers, tea towels, flags, coasters and much more. I’m also obsessing over their ticking and Easter pillows. They are just too cute! Head over to their shop to add some farmhouse flare to your home. You can thank me later.
