Hello loves, I’m super excited to share this post with you guys today because I’m finally able to share one of the cutest corners of my bedroom. For the past few months this space has sat bare with nothing but this antique chest but thanks to some amazing Etsy shops I was able to fill it out and create this cute little spot. One of the shops that were sweet enough to send me some items to help make my house a home was Moose Jaw Inc. The sell so many gorgeous reclaimed frames, hooks, signs and more! And the best part is that everything in their shop is super affordable and the perfect blend of farmhouse and chic. I had my eye on this chalk painted gold and white set for a little while so I was so happy when I received these frames. I paired the set with this super cute wooden frame that was gifted my mom and I just love the look of this wall now. Make sure to check out Moose Jaw Inc. to add some farmhouse flare to your own home, enjoy.

Hello loves, since I recently did a post on my own farmhouse coffee bar I wanted to show you guys some of my favorite decor pieces so you can create your own! It’s honestly my favorite and definitely the most loved space in our apartment so I wanted to share some more ideas with you. I made my coffee bar out of an old bakers rack but I though it would be fun to use a wooden bar cart as well. I just love the look of the distressed woods paired with the a rustic wreath. Besides the cart, each piece was under $5o, creating the perfect and affordable farmhouse coffee bar. Click the links to check out the decor for yourself, enjoy.
Morning loves, this is a post I have dying to do since I moved but I have been constantly changing this space up and wanted to wait until I settled on something I liked. We decided before we got our apartment that we really wanted a coffee bar and I had already had the perfect bakers rack for it. The piece originally had some glass shelving and a wine rack but me and my boyfriend did some DIYing and turned it into our coffee bar. This awesome rustic coffee sign from Down Grace Lane was the perfect finishing touch!! I found this shop through my favorite place to buy home decor, Etsy and they were sweet enough to send me a sign. I have seriously been counting down the days until it arrived because I knew it would finally complete this piece. Down Grace Lane sells a ton of stunning and affordable handmade signs, this one is only $25! Make sure to check their shop out for yourself and click below to see where I got the rest of the decor for my coffee bar, enjoy. [Read more…]
Hello loves, I have a super exciting post for you guys today! As you may know I have been collaborating with fashion brands and shops for a while now and since my blog has transitioned I haven’t worked with any home decor shops until recently. I have been loving Etsy for years and I came across this amazing shop, the Back Road Sign Company and had to share! They sell handmade distressed signs that go perfectly with my farmhouse style and they were sweet enough to send me one. I thought the 143 sign would be the perfect addition to my home considering it’s my all time favorite number and I just love the meaning behind it. You guys know, “one word, 4 letters, three meanings: I love you”. I found the perfect spot on an empty wall behind our bureau that needed some tlc. I have been obsessing over signs to fill spaces and make my home look complete. This one is a good size (13″X25″) and sells for $65. Make sure to click here and check out her shop for yourself, enjoy. [Read more…]
Hello loves, today I wanted to give you a closer look at my rustic bedside table decor. I don’t know about you guys but I prefer to keep my bedside table pretty bare so I can keep my phone and a drink on it throughout the night. I kept my decor pretty simple by adding a distressed clock (listed below), my lamp and an antique Tom Sawyer book. I’ll admit I’m not in love with this lamp but I already had it so I figured I would use it for now. Also, if you couldn’t already tell I have a bit of an obsession with antique books because they are all over my apartment. I think they add the perfect touch to any tabletop! As for my table, I purchased it at my local Tjmaxx about a year ago and we stained it before me moved in to create a matching bedroom set. Below I have listed some of my favorite affordable bedside tables and decor, just click on the image to check it out. Enjoy. [Read more…]
Hello loves, I am super excited to share the SIMPLEST DIY ever with you guys! I have had this antique window hanging above my dining room table for a while now and I’ve been racking my brain to figure out how I could spice it up. After doing some digging around on Pinterest I decided the best way to decorate my window would be to add a rustic banner. Now, I could have gone the easy route and bought one online but I had all the materials to make one myself and save some money. This is seriously the easiest DIY ever and makes any space look super cute. All you need is some twine, burlap, scissors and a glue gun (pictured on the next page). I simply cut a triangle stencil and then used it to create eight equal sized burlap triangles. I then glued those pieces to some twine and wallah, the perfect easy and rustic burlap garland! Happy DIYing. [Read more…]

If you couldn’t already tell I have been doing a lot more product posts lately. I thought it would be a good idea to share my favorite home decor sites and farmhouse pieces with you guys! Today I wanted to make a list of my favorite farmhouse lighting fixtures that are also pretty affordable. I think lighting is a high factor when it come to interior design. A super cool industrial or farmhouse piece can transform any room! Although I unfortunately can’t add my own fixtures to my place I have some awesome rustic pendant lights and an antique basket light similar to the one in the collage above stored away for our first home. Hello loves, we all have that favorite space in our home where we like to cuddle up after a long day of work and relax. For me that would definitely be my living room. I will admit I have made some changes since this picture was last taken and will be posting about my updated living room decor soon but I wanted to give you guys a before and after. For now I am showing you my favorite little corner of the room, my couch. I was searching for the perfect couch to fit my rustic style for a while that was also affordable and when I finally found this one from Ikea I fell in love. The slipcover gives it the perfect farmhouse feel and the best part is that it was only $500!! For real! And although it was super inexpensive it’s pretty comfortable. I accented the cream colors with my DIY pallet coffee table, some antique crates and a gallery wall. Overall I really love how everything turned out and I cannot wait to show you guys my new additions!!! Click here to check out this amazingly affordable couch for yourself and be sure to keep an eye out for my updated living room post. Enjoy.
