Hello loves, I recently posted a picture of this corner that I created in my bedroom thanks to some amazing Etsy shops and I wanted to show you guys where I got this super cute ladder and burlap pillow from. They are definitely some of my favorite items in this room because they add some character in an otherwise pretty dull and neutral space. When I first purchased this antique crate I knew I wanted to eventually add a small ladder and a pillow to give some dimension so when I stumbled across the Etsy shop BarnwoodUSA and saw this one for only $19 I knew I had to have it! It’s 3ft tall and made of up-cycled reclaimed wood, plus it comes in all different sizes and can be used for so many different things. Obviously I chose to use it just as decor but it could be used as a towel ladder in the bathroom or even as a bookcase! It’s an amazing deal for a great quality piece and their shop sells many more reclaimed wood items such as frames, shelves, signs and more. Make sure to check out their shop to give your own home that rustic look.
Alright, we can’t forget about that super cute french inspired burlap bee pillow! I had already created this space and was using a simple knit pillow in the meantime until I could find just the right one and when I found this burlap pillow I knew it would be perfect! As you know by now I have an obsession when it comes to antiques and during one of my random Etsy searches I discovered the shop Juniper Hill Antiques and fell in love. They sell some seriously gorgeous up-cycled antique furniture as well as handmade pillows, framed prints and more. They were sweet enough to send me a couple of items including this amazing french inspired queen bee trio burlap pillow. Although I don’t have many french inspired pieces I absolutely love the style and am always looking for something to make my farmhouse pieces look a little more chic. This pillow is great quality and sells for $32 which is such a steal for an entire pillow and not just the pillow cover. Make sure to check out their shop as well and add some french flare to you home! Enjoy! [Read more…]

I love the look of a shabby chic farmhouse living space with tons of pillows and throw blankets. Ultimate comfort is definitely they goal! I wanted to show you guys some of my favorite pieces to achieve the perfect rustic and neutral space. Hello loves, I have been finding some of the most amazing signs lately! Including this reclaimed wood welcome sign from the Etsy Shop Country by the Bumpkins. If you have been following my blog than you may have seen my recent post where I featured a reclaimed wood box that they were also sweet enough to send me. Now normally I would hang a sign like this on my front door but I currently live an apartment and am not allowed to hang anything on the doors. I have had this super cute antique ladder sitting in the corner of my living room since we moved in which originally had string lights wrapped around it until my cat chewed through the wire and ruined it haha. It has since sat there plain and boring until I received this sign and though it would be a great addition to the space. If you love the rustic look of reclaimed wood then you should definitely check out Country by the Bumpkins. They sell so many signs, shelves, centerpieces, mirrors, furniture, trays and more for a great price. This sign is only $10, how can you go wrong?!
