Hello loves, I’m so excited to finally feature out completed entryway. That may sounds confusing since I usually refer to my entryway as the shiplap accent wall in front of our stairs but this is the space to the left of my front door so I guess I would consider this my actual entryway space. As soon as we moved in I knew exactly what I wanted to do with this little spot but it took me a while to actually finish it off. I had been dreaming of a cute little distressed bench and some hooks in my entryway years before I had a house so I knew no matter the size of this space I had to make it happen. I had been lucky enough to receive this super cute sign from Jester Farms and hooks from Curtis Creation before we moved in and I knew they would make the perfect entryway decor. All that was left was to find or build a bench and collect some good throw pillows to create a cozy feel. After months of searching for the perfect and inexpensive bench with no luck my sweet boyfriend ending up building me this one and I painted and distressed it, annnddd I’m in love. We got the legs at Home Depot and already had the rest of the wood lying around. Then by some stroke of luck I receive the best happy mail from the Etsy shop Whalesharking. I had been swooning over her gorgeous vintage feed and grain sack pillows for a while now and was floored when she sent me an entire set!!! They are the most unique and amazing vintage pillows I have ever seen and sell between $ and $ which is a great deal for an entire pillow and not just the pillow case. Make sure to check out Whalesharking as well as Jester Farms and Curtis Creation to create your own farmhouse entryway, enjoy.
Hello loves, If you guys have been following my blog than you may have noticed that I have an obsession with antique glass bottles. I like to use them as fillers in little spaces all over my home, I may own more than fifty at this point haha. Thats why I’m so excited to feature this antique glass bottle collection from the shop Rustic Valley Vintage. I stumbled across their shop on Instagram and fell in love. The best part about their decor is that no two items are the same, everything they sell is authentic antique pieces which is right up my alley. Reminds me of an online flea market (and if you know me than you know how much I loveeee flea markets). They sell everything from creamware, to candlesticks, tier trays, clocks and much more! If you love my glass bottle collection than you are in luck, they are selling a similar set for $28 right now. Hello loves, I’m super excited to finally share my home tour with you guys! I have been dying to create a post like this but I’ve always lived in apartments until now and didn’t feel like their was any reason to do a home tour when you can’t update anything but decor. Taking on this tiny home reno was definitely the biggest project I have ever done personally and as much as it was a pain in the ass sometimes I wouldn’t change a thing. We did go crazy and bust this out in less than two months instead of being patient and taking our time but I am loving being able to relax and enjoy this home throughout the summer. Of course there are more projects I would like to complete but we decided that those can be done over time. Click the read more link to learn more about our DIY farmhouse transformation.
