Hello loves, it’s finally Friday and I couldn’t be more excited. Every week I count down until the weekend because after a long five days of staring at teeth and children screaming I definitely need a couple days off. And my favorite part has to be sleeping in. I just love it!! Especially since I got these amazing new sheets from the shop Red Land Cotton. I have been searching for the perfect pair of ticking sheets to break up our very white bedroom a little. So when I stumbled across these beauties I knew I had to have a set. And the best part about their shop is that they take an old 1920s bed sheet and reverse engineer the yarn size and weave. So their sheets/duvets/shams are constructed exactly like they were in the 20s. The cloth is heavier but has an open weave to allow for airflow. Which makes them truly look like antique farmhouse sheets and are sooo soft and cozy. So if you love all things vintage and farmhouse you have to head over to Red Land Cotton and check them out for yourself, you can thank me later.
Hello loves! Today is an exciting day because I’m finally sharing our new door mat with you guys. Now I know it might seem crazy that’s I’m so happy about something so small but for me a door mat is a huge part of a any home. Especially since it’s the first thing you notice when you are standing at someone’s door. And this beauty from Worry Less Craft More seriously makes me smile. The quote “home is wherever I’m with you” is special to me and my hubby and I couldn’t wait to have it written on our mat. Make sure to head over and check out their amazing Etsy shop if you haven’t already! I’m obsessing over their door mats, signs, pillows, bath tub trays and so much more. And read all about their distressed white tub tray here, enjoy.
Hello loves, hope your all having an amazing weekend. Mine was pretty great considering I was a bridesmaid in my friends wedding and it was absolutely beautiful. I feel blessed to be a part of it! And although yesterday was so much fun I’m happy to have today to relax and re cooperate from the long night of dancing. And it gives me an opportunity to share another candle from Flashpoint Candle!! They were so sweet to send me a couple of their six wick citronella candles to share with you guys back in July so I was jumping for joy when I received more happy mail from them. I mean how gorgeous is this two wick painted marble candle in the scent loft. It’s more of a clean, masculine scent so we will most likely be burning it in the most masculine room in our home, the office. And you know my hubby’s obsessed! But how perfect does this beauty look styled in our kitchen next to my bouquet from last night?! I wish both of these things could last forever but eventually the blooms will die and the candle will be burned. At least we will have an amazing marble cup to use as decor afterwards!! Head over to Flashpoint Candle and get your own, you can thank me later.
Hello loves, happy humpday. I don’t know about you guys but I am so happy that the week is half way over. I’ve been sick all week and it’s not very fun to clean children’s teeth when you can’t breath. At least the weekend is almost here! But enough about me let’s talk about an amazing shop, Avant Candle. Now you guys know I have a bit of a candle obsession and love trying new brands so when I received this happy mail I was jumping for joy. This candle in the scent lemon, verbena, ginger is seriously so awesome and perfect for summer and fall. It has quickly become my go to kitchen candle. And I cannot wait until their fall scents to come out! As well as their 365 annual candle. It not only lasts for an entire year but has four layers that are perfect for each season! How cool is that? If your a candle collector like myself make sure to check out Avant Candle for yourself. You can thank me later.
Hello loves, I hope you all had a nice relaxing weekend followed by a calm and quiet Monday. Although I highly doubt that’s the case since it’s the first day of the work week for most. I started the weekend off with a cold and spent a Saturday redoing my nieces room for her birthday. And although it turned out absolutely amazing and she was so happy I don’t think it helped me get better. So unfortunately I spent my Monday sick in bed. But it gave me some forced time to work on my blog and I was so excited to share another awesome Etsy shop with you, The Garland Guy! They sell the most gorgeous wreaths and garland that are perfect for any home or event. I am absolutely using their eucalyptus garland for our rustic barn wedding but until then they were so sweet to send me this olive branch wreath and I’m obsessed! It adds the perfect farmhouse touch to our entry. Head over to check out their shop for yourself, their handmade and fresh cut pieces are to die for. You can thank me later.
Hello loves, happy Sunday!!! Ahh you guys have no clue how happy I am that it’s the weekend. On top of having someone throw up all over my scrubs on Monday I came down with a terrible cold (I’m sure the two are related). But that’s ok because I have the next two days off and I will be spending them designing my nieces bedroom which is always fun. So keep an eye out for a post about that! But today I have the honor of sharing an amazing shop that I have shared before, Art Angels Market. They sent me a gorgeous tier tray that I have styled in my beauty room a few months ago and they were so sweet to send this awesome map to complete my hubby’s office. We were looking for a unique piece to hang over this side table and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. And that’s why I love their shop so much, they have the best mix when it comes to decor. They sell pieces for every interior design lover whether your looking for a more masculine look of going for a shabby chic feel. They really are a one stop decor shop. So head over and check out Art Angles Market for yourself, you can thank me later.
I truly am beyond grateful that in the year and a half I have been blogging and sharing my home that I have had the opportunity to be featured in a Magazine! Big thanks to Artful Blogging for making my dreams come true. But I really wanted to take a minute and say thanks to you guys. Because without you none of this would be possible. When I started this journey I never imagined the overwhelming support I would receive. Every sweet comment, like and follow means so much to me. And sharing this crazy journey with you guys has definitely been one of the highlights of my life. So thank you for that.
Hello loves, happy Monday. Let’s just say mine wasn’t the best. It started off on the wrong foot when I got projectile vomited on at work. Which unfortunately happens from time to time considering I work in a dental office. So I spent the entire day wearing my male bosses scrubs that were two sizes too big. Needless to say it was not my day. Haha. But at least I get to come home and chat with you guys. That’s always one of my favorite parts of the week. And today I’m so excited to share an amazing rug with you guys from the Swedish company Nordic Knots. Now I know the majority of our home is white but I’ve been dying to add some pops of black with bigger pieces like this rug and maybe even our doors 🙂 We will see! But this beauty is a nice start. This plus charcoal and cream rug is handwoven and made of pure New Zealand wool. And I love how it looks styled in my beauty room. It definitely adds a more girly and a slightly modern feel. And I think their clean lines look great in any farmhouse so head over and check out Nordic Knots for yourself. You can thank me later.
Hello loves! I recently added a fun new addition to our bedroom that I’m so excited to share with you guys. As you may know by now we don’t have a headboard. To be honest this is the same bed that I’ve had since high school but I haven’t used the head board since then and I love the look of our shiplap so much I would just hate to cover it up. But I recently stumbled across some gorgeous Farmhouse bedrooms with ruffle euro pillows and fell in love. They add a new dimension to the space and just look so pretty and shabby chic. So when I saw these beauties from Superior Custom Linens I had to have them. Their shop is seriously every Farmhouse lovers dream! I spent forever swooning over their gorgeous linen duvet covers, sheets, bed skirts, curtains, towels and so much more. It’s all amazing and these shams add the perfect farmhouse addition to this space. Click here to get a set for yourself, enjoy.
Hello loves, happy humpday! I’m super excited to share this post with you guys today because it not only has to do with our farmhouse bedroom but also one of my favorite hobbies, sleep. Haha 🙂 I don’t know about you but I loveeee my sleep, although I definitely don’t get enough of it. And one of the biggest factors is bedding. I like to call myself “the princess and the pea” because I cannot fall sleep if there is a single wrinkle in our sheets or if the pillows are not positioned in the right way. And yes I know I sound like a total diva but it’s something I cannot help unfortunately. And my pillows probably play the hugest part in all of this. I don’t think I’ve told you guys before but I have slipped disks in my neck which has affected my life greatly so I need the perfect combination of pillows so that I don’t make things worse. Luckily I have found my holy grail pillow and I just had to tell you guys because I’m obsessed. The company Down Lite was so sweet to send me some Serta posturepedic pillows to try out and I wanted to give it a few weeks before I could give an honest review. And I can definitely say that these babies are worth every penny. They are so soft and larger but not too large. Perfect to use on their own and they most to your head sort of like memory foam would. And the best part is they stay decently cool. After searching for years and trying out so many different pillows I am happy to share my all time favorite with you guys. And there is more amazing bedding where that comes from. Head over to Down Lite and read about their amazing innovations in bedding for yourself.
