Hello loves, happy Sunday. I had so much fun this weekend playing around with our decor and adding some neutral and chippy touches for winter. Although I’m really getting the itch to decorate for spring. Which I know is crazy considering it’s only the middle of January hahaha. But as a blogger I’m obligated to be at least a month ahead when it comes to seasonal decor and trends so I’m thinking by February I should be good to go. But for now I thought I would take down some of my pine garland and winter touches and add a fresh look with greenery and a few florals. And if you follow me on Instagram you know that we have so many fun projects going on at The Little White Farmhouse. All of them have something to do with antiques. My new motto is “out with the new and in with the old 🙂 I’m sure you guys know by now that I have a bit of an obsession with Liz Marie Galvan’s farmhouse. She’s seriously amazing and the inspiration behind both my blog and home. But I recently started realizing that almost every piece in her house is antique and if I wanted to create a similar look I would have to do the same. So I’m slowly replacing my newer pieces with chippy finds and I’m loving how it’s coming along. We not only installed an antique book wall in our bedroom (that I’ll be sharing on the blog next week) but we have an awesome project happening in our entry and also hung these gorgeous vintage corbels along the entrance to the kitchen this weekend. This is something we have talked about doing for sometime so when we stumbled across the perfect pair I was so excited. It adds such a unique architectural touch to the space and really frames the room. I hope you guys love it as much as I do, and all of the changes that are coming! Keep an eye out for some more blog posts featuring our projects, coming soon.
