Hello loves, happy Tuesday. I’m seriously geeking out that I finally get to feature our little laundry room reno. This is the one space that has sat untouched since we bought our house a year ago so I finally decided it had to be done. And this gorgeous sign from Lincoln Ave Designs was my inspiration behind the entire project! Unfortunately stupid me didn’t take a photo of the before but it was just the original cream colored walls with one metal shelf. And within the first few months my boyfriend was sweet enough to build me these gorgeous barn doors to hide it all. So now it was time to add some farmhouse touches to the inside. First I decided to use this textured and paintable floral wallpaper from Wayfair (although it’s hard to see in this photo) and painted it with my favorite Behr paint in the color smokestack. We also added my all time favorite wooden shelves. I still need to get the grain sack baskets I have been eying but I couldn’t wait wait to share this space and of course this amazing laundry sign!! I have been dreaming of having a beauty like this in my own laundry room for so long so this is really a dream come true. And if you love this sign and all things farmhouse you have to check out Lincoln Avenue Designs. I’m obsessing over their “milk and cream” sign as well. Click here to get your own, enjoy.
Hello loves, I hope you all had a great Mother’s Day! I hosted for the first time this year so I thought I would keep it traditional and make brunch. And if you know anything about me than you know I’m not the best cook, nor can I cook for more than two people unless it’s pasta 🙂 But I wanted to make this year extra special so I decided to make one of our family favorites; eggs in a basket (basically over easy eggs and toast), shredded cheesy hash browns, bacon and pancakes. My mouths watering just thinking about it . And I have to say I didn’t do half bad, minus the over cooked eggs haha. But the day turned out to be amazing and I feel so blessed to get to spend it with my mom, sister and niece. And of course when I have company over I’m always going crazy tidying up the day before and making sure everything looks perfect (or as perfect as it can be). So I was super excited when I received these gorgeous ticking pillows from Returning Grace just in time. These beauties look awesome paired with our tan grain sack pillows and it really adds the perfect farmhouse touch to our living room space. If your looking to add a more antique or farmhouse chic look to your house make sure to check out their shop! Their selection is amazing and they sell all types of pillows including spring, scripture, grain sack, ticking and Christmas as well as table napkins, runners and tea towels. They also sell personalized pieces, I mean how can you go wrong?! Head over and see their amazing collections for yourself, you can thank me later.

Hello guys, I have an exciting post for those antique collectors out there today. As much as I love spending the day at our local consignment shops and flea markets sometimes I just want to snuggle up on the couch and shop online. And Flea Market France is definitely one of my favorite antique shops! They sell so many amazing vintage finds from their local flea markets in the south of France and when I recently stumbled upon their site I instantly fell in love. I was on the hunt for an antique cutting board and when I saw their huge collection I knew I had to have one. They sell them in all different sizes and colors. And this beauty looks perfect styled in our farmhouse corner. Definitely adds a vintage touch to the space and I’m obsessed. I’m also loving their vintage drying racks, enamelware, baskets, rolling pins, signs and so much more. They really are the perfect one stop online antique shop. So put your pjs on and check them out for yourself, you can thank me later.
Hello loves, I hope you all had an amazing weekend! Mine was filled with projects as usual. I started painting our tile floors in the master bathroom and I didn’t realize what a nightmare it would be. So I decided to take a break and share our new farmhouse pillows with you guys! After swooning over Liz Marie’s sunroom I knew ticking and grain sack pillows were the way to go. And I’m obsessing over this tan grain sack pillow from the Etsy shop Freckles Design Studio. These beauties come in all different colors and styles. They also sell some amazing state, quote and plaid pillows as well as adorable totes, scarves and wristlets. This pillow is the perfect addition to our farmhouse living room and I’m also thinking about ordering their horizontal grain sack pillow to complete this space. So if your looking to add some farmhouse charm to your house make sure to check our Freckles Design Studio, you can thank me later.
Hello loves, happy Friday!!! As much as I love this day (because it’s the last one before the weekend) today is not my favorite since I have to work tomorrow. So it’s basically like a Thursday. But I’m not too sad about it since it’s going to be a gloomy and rainy all weekend anyways. Luckily last weekend was beautiful and I was able to capture the perfect photo of this gorgeous grain sack pillow from the Etsy shop Medreana Design. I have been working hard to make our home look a little less shabby chic and a little more farmhouse which means I had to add some more vintage pieces. So this authentic grain sack pillow was the perfect addition to my favorite living room corner. And if you love all things rustic and farmhouse then you will be swooning over their shop. They sell an amazing selection of grain sack pillows in all definitely colors as well as baskets, totes, sheets, table runners, tea towels and much more. I’m seriously swooning over here!!! Head over and check it out for yourself, you can thank me later.

Hello loves, I’m so excited to share a space that doesn’t get much love on the blog but is one of our favorite cozy spots, our loft! It’s the space right above our kitchen and dining room. And since it’s the only other room (besides our bedroom) on the second floor we thought it would make the perfect mini living room just for the two of us! And we love it! But unfortunately it’s always the last room to get decorated and I feel like I’m constantly trying to find pieces to fill it and then they somehow make their way to a different spot in the house. But I’ve been working hard to complete this space and add some fun spring accents. So I decided to start with the floating shelf above our couch. I have been swooning over this photo on Instagram of layered frames on a shelf so when I saw this antique frame set from Shop Patina I had to have it. I’m obsessing over these unique distressed beauties, they look perfect layered on any tabletop or mantle! If you live in the area make sure to check out their booths in Nashville, Tennessee! They sell at Gaslamp Too and Jayney’s Mercantile. They are so dreamy and filled with so many vintage goodies (anddd a lot of white 🙂 ) and if your not local head over to their Facebook page and Instagram to check out some of their farmhouse pieces and their booth, enjoy.
Hello loves, happy spring! Yes I know spring officially started ten days ago but here in New England it hasn’t felt like it until now. The last week we have had some 70 degree days and it’s been amazing. We are finally making use of our porch and enjoying the outdoors again. And I’m starting to think spring may be my favorite season so if course I love everything that comes with it, including decor. All of the greenery and fresh blooms seriously make my heart happy. So I had to have at least one fun sign to celebrate the season! And this “hello spring” sign from the Etsy shop Whatever is Lovely was the perfect addition to our farmhouse living room. Their handmade signs are to die for and they have more super cute pieces for the season. I’m obsessing over their fresh cut flowers sign as well! Head over to their shop and swoon for yourself, you can thank me later.
Hello loves, if you couldn’t already tell I have been trying to add more antiques around our house in an attempt to make it look a little less shabby chic and a little more farmhouse. And I’m seriously loving how it’s turning out! The only part of our living room that was in need of some chippy goodness was our fireplace mantle. Although I was swooning over the gorgeous sign we had up I really wanted a unique piece to layer with our antique window. So when I received this gorgeous tin tile from Mabel’s Market I knew I had the perfect spot. I love how rusty and chippy this beauty is and it definitely adds some character to this space. If your obsessed with all things repurposed, rustic and farmhouse make sure to check out their Facebook page. And if your live in Illinois make sure to check out their shop for yourself, enjoy.
