Hello loves, hope you all had an amazing weekend. For once we actually spent ours relaxing, considering I usually work on Saturdays and we spend Sunday running errands and cleaning up the house. Instead we decided to sleep in, go out to breakfast and spend the day searching for some beautiful fresh flowers. I had been dying to get some since we haven’t had any since we moved in!! This is partly because my cat always eats them and partly because we have been so preoccupied renovating the house. But now that things have settled and there is only a month until Valentines Day I figured it was time to pick some up. And I fell in love when I saw these gorgeous blush pink flowers at a local shop and knew they would look perfect on our coffee table. We also got some gorgeous hydrangeas for the dining room. Not only do they make the house smell ahhh-mazing but they just make my heart happy. Hopefully I can make a habit of it and keep them around the house all year long.
Hello loves, happy Saturday. I know I said I would be sharing about this gorgeous chandelier I scored on Craigslist last night but I didn’t end up getting home till late so I figured I would feature this little beauty today. I love sharing these finds because I know there are a lot of you guys out there that love home decor but are on a budget like myself. And when we first bought our house back in May things were even tighter, considering we had just used every dollar we had ever saved for a down payment. But typical me was determined to renovate this entire home within the first two months. Which meant that we had to get creative and DIY our life away or get larger pieces for free. Luckily I had already started collecting when we lived in our apartment so I had known that free Craiglist existed and I have fully used it to my advantage since. Not only did I find this amazing antique chandelier but I also scored my coffee table, outdoor table and antique buffet as well!! Just add some chalk paint, distress it and wallah! You have the perfect piece to add some character to your home. When we first moved in this house honestly looked like a lodge (but not in a cute rustic way). Everything including the flooring and cabinets were light pine, the walls were a weird yellow color and this lighting fixture was the worst of all. It had cutouts of pine trees and moose all over it, and it had to go. So after many nights scrolling through Craigslist this antique chandelier popped up and I instantly fell in love. It was originally wood with brass accents but I spray painted the entire thing black and called it a day. I think its the perfect addition to our farmhouse dining room and the best part is that it cost me NOTHING. That’s why I’m so excited to share my love for renovating old pieces in my home decorating business. I cannot wait to add some stunning accents to your home and help transform any room on a budget. Enjoy.
Hello loves, I haven’t talked much about the fact that I FINALLY changed our mantle for the first time since we moved in (it’s been eight months). I just wanted something a little more simple and I love how this garland looks paired with our antique windows and some shabby chic candles. Then of course I had some add some pops of pink and hearts for Valentines Day. I found some pink candles at the Target dollar spot and this sweet heart banner from Dainty Cottage Decor. It’s the perfect touch to our Valentines Day mantle and makes my heart happy. This super cute fabric heart banner looks perfect hung on a door or even across a shelf. And you know how I love my neutral decor, so the white hearts paired with twine is so my jam. Plus this little beauty is only $25, how can you go wrong? Make sure to check out Dainty Cottage Decor and add some sweet cottage touches for the holiday, enjoy.

Hello loves, although I love our entire kitchen this is definitely my favorite corner! It might have something to do with our Ikea farmhouse sink that I had dreamed about for years or maybe our DIY open shelving. Either way I have so much fun decorating this cute corner for each season and right now I’m OBSESSED with Valentines Day. And since it’s almost a month away I have been trying to add some cute touches around our home. But unlike Christmas I haven’t completely decked out this space, I’m going for a simpler look paired with some winter decor anddd I love it! But just like Christmas I had a field day at Target dollar spot and filled our entire home for less than $50. I scored this adorable “I love you” tea towel (with a super cute scalloped detail if I might add), this sparkly heart sign and a little cream heart dish thats hidden on our shelfs. And the best part is everything was under $3, how can you go wrong? All of these gorgeous reds, pinks and hearts seriously make my heart happy. Make sure to check out Target to add some love to your home and on a budget, enjoy.
Hello loves, I am so excited to finally share our valentines living room with you guys! I’m not going to lie I never thought about decorating for the holiday (I’m usually not a pink kind of girl) but after seeing so many swoonworthy rooms on Instagram I couldn’t resist. So I let my six year old self get the best of me and I ran to Target and went crazy at the dollar spot. I decorated my entire home for $50, how can you go wrong? And of course I was lucky enough to find some amazing pieces from some even more amazing shops! Like this rustic wooden heart sign from the Etsy shop White Daisy Signs. I loveeee how simple and neutral this little beauty is and it looks gorgeous hung on our DIY blanket ladder. Make sure to check out their shop for more handmade wooden signs, their “I love us” sign is my jam as well. Get your own just in time for February, enjoy.
Hello loves, I’m seriously dying to open my home decorating business!! You have no idea, this is something I have been dreaming about for so long now and the fact that I’m finally making this dream a reality makes my heart happy. I have already created some amazing packages for both the local-ish client and some e-design packages for those that are not so close. And I thought adding our signature shelves into some of the packages would be the perfect addition to my business. Especially since they are my all time favorite DIY (I have them in three rooms of my house haha). They look gorgeous styled in a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and practically any room you can think of!! I’m also thinking of adding our DIY shiplap walls as The Little White Farmhouse Interiors grows. But for now these shelves will be available, so if you love them as much as I do than make sure to keep an eye out for my post announcing the opening of my home decorating business. Coming sometime in February!!
Hello loves, before I feature our Valentine’s decor I wanted to share this view of our winter living room. I do love this neutral space although I was a little in shock when the pops of red from Christmas came down. Luckily, it’s almost a month until Valentine’s Day which is the perfect excuse to turn our house into every little girls dream. Yes, our home is officially filled with pink and red hearts galore. And I love it! But I also love this rustic wintery decor and wanted to share it one more time. Especially since our mantle decor has completely changed and I have a super easy DIY that I will be feature very soon! Until then I hope you guys enjoy our farmhouse winter wonderland.
