Hello loves, if you couldn’t already tell I have a bit of an obsession with candles. Both decorative or ones I actually use. I just feel like they add such a cozy look to any space. But what you probably didn’t know is that I also have an obsession with candle holders. I love them all from vintage brass beauties to distressed turned candles sticks, salvage finds and this chippy metal set from Bits of Vintage is definitely on my list. And layering them with our kitchen centerpiece is giving me all the spring feels. The best part is that their entire site is just as amazing! They sell everything from vintage style lighting, furniture, wall decor and basically anything vintage farmhouse style you can thank of. There’s even an antique collection filled with gorgeous found items! You know how much I love that! Head over and fill your home with their farmhouse finds, you can thank me later.
Hi guys! I told you I’ve been making some updates to my beauty room and I’m going to let you in on a few surprises coming soon. I’ve been working on updating the gallery wall, adding a chandelier, a shag rug and of course this gorgeous wooden floor mirror from Chattel’s Home Boutique. I haven’t had a full length mirror since we moved in, and that’s mostly because I couldn’t find the right one until I stumbled across their Etsy shop. They sell some seriously gorgeous handmade mirrors, shelves, ladders, trays, shutters, ornaments and so much more. And they make this beauty in both stained wood, distressed paint and I’m loving the addition of hardware as well. I’m so excited to use this beauty on our wedding day, it will be the perfect mirror to use while getting ready with my girls 🙂 Head over to their shop to add one of their handmade creations to your home, you can thank me later.
Hey loves, I seriously cannot get enough of you guys lately. There are just so many shops to share and so little time. I wanted to add some vintage pieces to this cabinet I refinished recently and this scale and clock look perfect layered here. Hello loves! I wanted to chat a little about our farmhouse bedroom today. We installed these shelves the first week moved in and after almost two years I’m finally loving how they look. Especially since we added this stunning antique parking sign from the Etsy shop Perfect Home Antiques. I have been on the hunt for a vintage sign for some time now so when I saw this beauty I knew I had to have it. And it looks amazing layered on our shelves with all of our other pieces! There are so many more vintage finds in their shop where that came from. They sell everything from signs, to cates, antique photos, lanterns and so much more. Hi guys, hope your all having an amazing weekend! I think it’s kind of funny that I’m over here adding spring touches to our home and we had a huge snow storm last night. Hahaha 🙂 Welcome to New England! I just figure the more fresh accents we add the faster the warm weather will come. So I styled this corner of our entry today with some fun florals and this gorgeous antique watering can from The Carolina Bungalow. I love layering these beauties around our home for spring and summer and I’m thinking this one will look perfect on our future potting bench I’m going to style outside this year. But while the ground is still frozen this piece has found the perfect home right in this little corner. And there are a lot more vintage watering cans and antique finds where that comes from. Head over to their shop and fill your home with their amazing antiques, enjoy.
Hi again guys, I wanted to chat a little about our coffee table decor on the blog today. Especially since it might be my favorite set up so far. Over the years we have had this table styled so many ways for so many seasons but I’m really obsessing over this years layered spring decor. Probably because there’s a lot of antiques and I love how they look styled with our newer farmhouse pieces like this beaded garland from Angie’s Rustic Decor. I love that these wooden beads are so versatile and can be styled anywhere to create the perfect vignette. And they are just what this coffee table needed! Head over to their shop to get your own handmade garland and painted mason jars to decorate your farmhouse. Enjoy.
Hi guys, it’s been a while since I’ve shared our beauty room on the blog. But I’ve been doing some fun projects in this space so everything’s been a bit of a mess lately. So this week was all about getting organized and I started with this room (probably because it’s one of my favorites). I have dreamed of having a beauty room since I was a little girl so when we bought this three bedroom house I jumped on the opportunity to create one before we had children. And I’m absolutely loving it, it’s so fun to have a room that’s all your own! Since this is both my closet and vanity I added a feminine touch to the space. And this wall is my favorite!! With the dainty floral wallpaper and my mother’s antique vanity. And what better way to style this beauty than with some girly vintage pieces like this antique claw foot tub feet from Le Beau Chateau. I’ve always drooled over those tubs and this chippy foot is such a unique piece to add this space. If your loving this little cutie as much as I am and live in the North Carolina area make sure to stop by The Sweet Tea Studio in Greensboro. Their ship is filled with so many gorgeous antique finds as well as Miss Mustard Seed milk paint! And if you don’t live in the area make the trip out, it will be worth it! Enjoy 🙂
Hi guys, happy Friday!!! Hooray for the long weekend. My goal is to get stuff done, especially when it comes to blogging. Which means I will be sharing so many amazing shops and I cannot wait. And tonight is all about our updated loft and this gorgeous antique brass light from the vintage shop St. Clair’s Decor. I have wanted one of these beauties for soooo long now and the fact that it’s the centerpiece to this bright and open room makes me smile. If you live in the Raleigh, North Carolina area you have to stop in and check out their amazing finds. I’m swooning every time I see their Instagram feed. Their shop is filled with every vintage piece you can imagine and I want it all. They even have more of these brass lighting fixtures. So take a ride to 9300 Durant Rd in Raleigh, North Carolina and fill your home with some amazing antique goodies. You can thank me later.
Hello loves, I am SO excited about this post because I’m finally sharing our finished spring mantle in our bedroom. I recently installed this gorgeous DIY book wall and once it was to up I knew exactly how I wanted to style this space. The combination of distressed pots, florals and this plant mister gives me all the warm weather feels. And I found the perfect one from the shop Gray Apple Market. I originally planned to layer this beauty with an antique watering can but this mister was so gorgeous on its own so I kept it as is. And when I finally added the florals it really popped and the whole mantle made sense. Now if only the weather would cooperate haha 🙂 so if your looking to add some spring touches to your home head over to their shop. They sell both vintage and newer decor pieces. And I’m loving it all from their French market bags to their signs, architectural windows, dough bowls, candles, antique books, seltzer bottles, enamel ware and so much more. You can thank me later!
